Over the years, Fade have written songs about many things, from broken marriages and broken hearts to suburban towns and seaside resorts. 

However, for this latest collection, we decided to try an experiment.  Taking a range of characters from popular films, we tried to identify the underlying concepts of each character and then used that as the basis for the songs we were writing. 

In so doing, we found ourselves with a collection of songs that touched upon a fairly wide and diverse range of notions and emotions.  And so, we give you songs about eternal love, friendship, doomed love, loyalty, freedom, guilt, isolation, prescience, exploration, transcendence and humanity.  We give you ‘Character Reference’.
